Description
Pure sine wave of the musical note B flat is used for tuning woodwind and brass bands and is the third most common tuning pitch after ‘A’ and ‘C’. The sine-waveform has no overtones or harmonics which makes it easily discernable from the instrument being tuned, but sounds somewhat unnatural to the ear.
