Description
Sweeping Golden Noise is low-mid frequency emphasized noise created to replicate the light spectrograph of a golden color.
This focused noise emphasizes the 50 Hz to 250 Hz area of the audio spectrum.
The sweeping component is an equalization boost that shifts from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and back over a period of one minute. Because the sweep travels from edge to edge of the listening spectrum, it may appear to disappear at the extreme ends based on the playback quality and the listener’s hearing abilities.
Gold also reflects light, and this element was mimicked in the audio by adding a dash of sonic reflectivity—reverb.
