Description
Violet Noise is an ambient sound color featuring high frequencies that are popular for tinnitus masking. Most people would describe Violet Noise as a hiss or a sizzle, which some listeners find to be soothing and relaxing.
This noise is the opposite of Brown Noise in terms of frequency content. Unlike Pink Noise or White Noise, Violet Noise has very little midrange or low frequencies. It was originally created for the broadcast industry as a test tone in the 20th century. This audio is also sometimes used at low levels as a dithering or smoothing agent in digital recordings, which can increase the overall listening enjoyment of the music. The product includes both one-hour and ten-hour audio downloads.
